The Sheepdog is probably the most common breed at Hellshund. This breed was created as an alternative to livestock. With these dogs you can get both wool and protection from predators all in one! They come in all different colors and are popular in shows. A popular pastime is woolsculpt where owners dye and cut the wool to make fun designs on their dog. It doesn't hurt the dog and they tend to love the attention so it's fun for everyone! The lifespan of these dogs is 800-1200 years on average and they generally weigh around 100 pounds. This breed is very healthy and active but be sure to watch those hooves and horns! The sheepdog has a very easygoing temperament and is a great family dog. They love people and are a very popular pet. Grooming is essential for this breed. You need to keep the horns and hooves trimmed so they don't grow out of control. Daily brushing is ideal and must be bathed and dried to avoid matting.
